Happy March! đ It is a big month around here, and I am just going to go ahead and blame the calendar. Our eldest granddaughter turns 18 in a couple of days đ¤Żđâand yes, we tease her about getting older, as if we would know anything about that. 𤣠Our grandson has a birthday the following week, and our youngest granddaughter closes out the month. Phew! Ohâand somewhere in the middle of all that, I have a birthday too. đ I am owning it. There will most definitely be cake. đ March is basically a celebration tour, and I am here for every single bit of it. Whatâs Been On My Heart âChristine Caine once wrote, âImpossible is where God starts.â I have been sitting with those words all week. Have you been there? You try something, and it falls apartâmiserably. Or life is humming along just fine, and then⌠it stops. An obstacle. A wall. Something you never saw coming. And suddenly, moving forward feels impossible. Friend, Jesus spoke directly to that feeling. In Luke 18:27, He says: "What is impossible for people is possible with God." (NLT) Take a moment and read those surrounding verses. The disciples had their own moment of âBut wait⌠what?â And I believe Jesus paused, looked at them with those kind eyes, and let His words settle deep. Hear my heart, dear one. God sees exactly where you are. Jesus understands your sufferingânot from a distance, but up close. You are not stuck forever. You are standing at the starting line of what God is about to do. Impossible is where He starts. Freedom and joy begin when you take that one brave step toward the obstacleânot around it, not away from it. Toward it. With Him. Would you accept my invitation? I would love to sit with you in a free 30-minute coaching session and help you find Godâs possible in your impossible. âClick here to schedule your free 30-minute session ââ Something for You Oh, this one has my whole heart right now. He Calls Me Daughter is coming to theaters March 17 & 18âand I think it was made for women who carry a deep daddy wound. At the center of this film is an encounter with Jesus, whose love pours from a perfect Heavenly Father who sees His daughters, stops for them, and calls them by name. If you have ever ached to hear the word âdaughterâ spoken over you with tenderness and truth, this film is for you. Get showtimes and tickets here â He Calls Me Daughterâ đđť A Prayer for You Dear God, You love Reader as Your daughterâbecause that is exactly what she is. Daughter. What a word. A word every woman needs to hear, yet some women have never heard it spoken over them in a loving tone by their dads. Speak this truth over Reader today. May she feel it in her bonesânot as a distant idea, but as a living reality. May she experience Your love, Your grace, Your peace, and Your provision in ways she cannot explain but cannot deny. Where her earthly father fell short, You do not. You are the Father who does not withdraw, does not look away, and never stops calling her by name. She is Yours. And you are hers. Amen. |

My mom used to tell me that March and April were hard months for her. Growing up in northern Minnesota, I watched the beautiful white snow turn muddy and black. What once sparkled now tracked a mushy mess into the house with every person who walked through the door. Add in the temps that could not make up their mind, and life felt a bit more chaotic than the predictable quiet of winter cold. This year, I get Momâs feelings more than ever. The seasonal switches feel unsettling. So when the sun...
The best birthday gifts I received were not wrappedâthey were phone calls and special texts from my children and grandchildren. Oh, my heart. đ Dave took me out for a gluten-free doughnut and a chai latte, then we walked to Lake Michigan to soak up some sunshine. âď¸ Even with Chicago traffic humming all around us, my soul just⌠revived. I found myself marveling at Godâs goodness and kindness all over again. I get to experience all of this. What a gift. Whatâs Been On My Heart âYou keep track...
This time of year, I feel like a kid looking through the candy store window. Spring is on its way â crocuses, daffodils, tulips, and hyacinths are poking through the thawing ground as I walk down the city streets. The air feels a little different⌠until the wind blows off the still-cold Lake Michigan. I love springtime. It feels like a gift every year. Oh â and It'Sugar, a massive candy store, is only a couple of blocks away. Very dangerous. đ Whatâs Been On My Heart Just like the promise of...
