Happy March! đ It is a big month around here, and I am just going to go ahead and blame the calendar. Our eldest granddaughter turns 18 in a couple of days đ¤Żđâand yes, we tease her about getting older, as if we would know anything about that. 𤣠Our grandson has a birthday the following week, and our youngest granddaughter closes out the month. Phew! Ohâand somewhere in the middle of all that, I have a birthday too. đ I am owning it. There will most definitely be cake. đ March is basically a celebration tour, and I am here for every single bit of it. Whatâs Been On My Heart âChristine Caine once wrote, âImpossible is where God starts.â I have been sitting with those words all week. Have you been there? You try something, and it falls apartâmiserably. Or life is humming along just fine, and then⌠it stops. An obstacle. A wall. Something you never saw coming. And suddenly, moving forward feels impossible. Friend, Jesus spoke directly to that feeling. In Luke 18:27, He says: "What is impossible for people is possible with God." (NLT) Take a moment and read those surrounding verses. The disciples had their own moment of âBut wait⌠what?â And I believe Jesus paused, looked at them with those kind eyes, and let His words settle deep. Hear my heart, dear one. God sees exactly where you are. Jesus understands your sufferingânot from a distance, but up close. You are not stuck forever. You are standing at the starting line of what God is about to do. Impossible is where He starts. Freedom and joy begin when you take that one brave step toward the obstacleânot around it, not away from it. Toward it. With Him. Would you accept my invitation? I would love to sit with you in a free 30-minute coaching session and help you find Godâs possible in your impossible. âClick here to schedule your free 30-minute session ââ Something for You Oh, this one has my whole heart right now. He Calls Me Daughter is coming to theaters March 17 & 18âand I think it was made for women who carry a deep daddy wound. At the center of this film is an encounter with Jesus, whose love pours from a perfect Heavenly Father who sees His daughters, stops for them, and calls them by name. If you have ever ached to hear the word âdaughterâ spoken over you with tenderness and truth, this film is for you. Get showtimes and tickets here â He Calls Me Daughterâ đđť A Prayer for You Dear God, You love Reader as Your daughterâbecause that is exactly what she is. Daughter. What a word. A word every woman needs to hear, yet some women have never heard it spoken over them in a loving tone by their dads. Speak this truth over Reader today. May she feel it in her bonesânot as a distant idea, but as a living reality. May she experience Your love, Your grace, Your peace, and Your provision in ways she cannot explain but cannot deny. Where her earthly father fell short, You do not. You are the Father who does not withdraw, does not look away, and never stops calling her by name. She is Yours. And you are hers. Amen. |

This week I said no to something I genuinely wanted to do. Not because it was bad. Not because someone guilted me into it. But because my body told me to stop, and for once, I listened. I'll be honest: I didn't want to. The to-do list didn't care that I was running low. The calendar didn't rearrange itself out of compassion. And the part of me that likes to push through? She had opinions. But real self-care isn't always a bath and a candle. Sometimes it's the harder, quieter thingâchoosing...
After weeks of gray skies and steady rain, the sun finally showed up this week. Dave and I walk just about everywhereâit's our primary mode of transportation. We walk in the cold, the rain, and the cloudy, windy days, so these last few days of sunshine have been a real treat. đ At one point on a recent walk, I stopped mid-stride, closed my eyes, and turned my face fully into the warmth. Just stood there. Soaking it in. Letting it replenish what the long, gray stretch had quietly drained. That...
Last week, Dave and I attended a long-anticipated weddingâvirtually. And once again, we found ourselves praising God for the gift of technology. I'll be honestâI have a love-hate relationship with technology, especially when it doesn't extend grace for user error. :) But here's a fun fact that still makes me smile: almost 19 years ago, Dave used semi-brand-new technology called Skype to connect our sonâwho was living in Austriaâto our daughter's wedding in Colorado. People at the wedding...
