It’s quite a shock leaving the balmy Caribbean temperatures for northern climates. 😀 We enjoyed our travels to the ABC islands. There’s something special about the melding of cultures on these islands—friendly people, stunning colors, delicious foods, and turquoise waters you don’t see anywhere else. We were thankful for the tradewinds that kept us cool.
Consider Nothing stays the same in life. CS Lewis said, “Isn’t it funny how day to day nothing changes, but when you look back everything is different.” This quote is hanging in my home to remind me that change is normal and good. Where are you in your personal growth journey? What is one step forward you can take today? Reflect Proverbs 10:25 says, “When the storms of life come, the wicked are whirled away, but the godly have a lasting foundation.” Your foundation matters. Recently, someone asked me about my non-negotiables. It’s a great question. These non-negotiables anchor you when the storms come. I realized that if I do nothing else during the day, spending time reading the Bible, praying, and journaling continue to build my foundation on the Rock, Jesus Christ. What is your foundation? 🙏🏻 May I pray for you? Dear God, how Reader needs you today. Thank you for always being present and interested in Reader’s life and concerns. Show Reader how to anchor in you so their life’s foundation is strong. If Reader struggles with the changes they see in life, fill Reader with peace. Perhaps Reader feels stagnant or stuck. Would you fill Reader with courage to take a step forward with you? Open Reader’s eyes in wonder, hope, and fun today. Amen. This past week has been filled with concerns. One of the heaviest is the sale of our home. We’re approaching the one-year mark since we listed it, and we’re not sure what to do.
