Overwhelmed? You’re not alone, friend

It’s been a week.

Full of schedule changes, cancellations, appointments, and a whole lot of hurry-up-and-wait.

I told Dave I feel far behind in almost every area of my life.
The balls keep dropping with no end in sight.

Everything feels important—thankfully not urgent—but I still struggle to meet each deadline with grace and confidence.

And even though I know God is with me, leading and steadying me, the doubts still pile up.

Each day, I’ve reminded myself to be grateful because God continues to pour His blessings over me. Those reminders soften the anxiety, even when nothing around me slows down.

Would you pray for me this week? Truly. I’d be grateful.

Consider

We’re wrapping up the Breathe Again Masterclass and prepping for the January one. These weeks have been full—women learning, healing, being challenged, and growing together. God has been so kind.

You’ve heard me say it often: you don’t have to stay stuck in the pain. Healing is possible, and you don’t have to walk through it alone.

So as we look toward the new year, I wanted to make it easier for you to take that next brave step toward freedom.

I’m offering an early Black Friday blessing for the January Breathe Again Masterclass — 40% off the full registration ($1297).

Because you matter, and I want to support your healing in every way I can, you’ll also receive:

  • A 90-minute private coaching session with me — just you and me walking through what’s weighing on your heart ($350 value). Must be scheduled before January 15, 2026.
  • A free PDF copy of Choosing a Way Out — my own story of God’s rescue and restoration ($15 value)
  • And of course, payment options to make the journey lighter

Use promo code: BLACKFRIDAY
This offer is available until midnight, December 1. After that, the bonuses disappear with it.

If your heart is whispering “maybe…” or “I’m ready to heal,” take a moment and explore the details.

Reflect

Proverbs 17:22 (NLT):
“A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength.”

I’ve lived that verse this week.
Dave knows how to make me laugh, and we’ve shared some life-giving, belly-deep laughter that lifted the weight we’ve been carrying.

Laughter really is God’s medicine.

The leaves are absolutely stunning around here these days. 🍁 I love the riot of colors and the gentle sound they make as they drift to the ground. Walking home from church this week, Dave and I found ourselves kicking through piles of leaves along the walkway—laughing as we remembered all those years of raking leaves into big heaps and tossing our kids into them. (Sometimes we jumped in too!) Photo by Scott Webb on Unsplash I’m so grateful for simple joys like that. Maybe your life doesn’t...

Last week, I got to spend time with my daughter, son-in-love, and grandkids. What a joy to be in their home, part of their daily life, and even some special activities. With six kids, there’s a lot going on in that house! So many memories of our house when our kids were all home. At this point in my life, perspective has shifted. Have you felt that in your life? What seemed so important now looks different. As I chatted with my grandkids, I thought about how I wanted to encourage them to be...

Recently, Dave and I have faced several challenges. At times, I feel stymied, unsure which way to turn. We try one direction only to hit a roadblock, so we pivot. Other times, it feels like we’re treading water, trying to keep up. Even when we know we’re exactly where God wants us for this season, questions still bubble up: At this age and stage in our lives? Really, God? And then God surprises us. Amid the challenges, he shows glimpses of unexpected joy, lessons, or blessings that thrill our...
