How is 2025 treating you? In just two days, Dave and I hop on another airplane to head away from the sun and beach. It’s been a fantastic week exploring more of God’s creation. He’s so imaginative and creative. The southernmost point in our travels included “The ABC Islands” (Aruba, Bonaire, and Curacao), spread over 86 miles. Each island was beautiful in its own way. The colors on the buildings took my breath away. Stunning! We found the people friendly and inviting. Fun fact: Dave did a summer internship on the island of Aruba while in college. Watch my social media for some pictures. 😀 Consider If you’ve already abandoned whatever New Year’s resolutions you adopted, you aren’t alone. This Friday, the second Friday of January, is nicknamed “Quitter’s Day” because 88% of people have failed with their resolutions by this date. 🤐 Instead of resolutions, try this. Start each morning in a conversation with God. Ask him what he wants you to focus on that day. Now, do it. You might find partnering with God in your daily activities much more rewarding than your resolutions. I’d love to hear how this goes for you. Reflect Proverbs 16:9 says, “We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps.” Where is God directing you? This month, I’m taking a deep-dive into Proverbs. This past week has been filled with concerns. One of the heaviest is the sale of our home. We’re approaching the one-year mark since we listed it, and we’re not sure what to do.
